Roles and Responsibilities:

Finance Team

Corporate Connections Coordinator — (5 hrs / wk)

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing NER’s corporate sponsorships portfolio

  • Build engaging sponsorship package content and pitch for potential sponsors

  • Maintain good relationships with existing sponsors through regular updates

  • Solicit connections with Northeastern alumni and external organizations to build lasting relationships for sponsorships, speaker events, and more

  • Communicate with companies and internally advertise corporate events

Head of Reimbursement – (10 hrs / wk)

Reports to: Chief Finance Officer

  • Responsible for managing procurement and reimbursement requests and processes to ensure compliance with university financial responsibility guidelines

  • Help to organize annual budgeting

  • Help to direct the further development and implementation of FinishLine

Assistant Treasurer — (5 hrs / wk)

  • Reports to: Chief Finance Officer

  • Responsible for SAF annual budget, SABO bank accounts, and bookkeeping

  • Assist Project Leads with navigating the club’s financial processes

  • Familiar with general financial processes at NER in order to be able to assist when needed with other short-term projects 

Marketing

Graphic Designer — (5 hrs / wk)

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

  • Has experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

  • Creates merchandise designs

  • Creates graphics for posters, flyers, and social media

  • Performs typographic work

Photographer/Videographer — (5 hrs / wk)

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

  • Has experience in Adobe Lightroom and Premiere, or other photo and video editing software

  • Takes photo and video at test days

  • Takes photos and video of usual club activities

  • Edits photo and video for social media and collateral

Social Media Specialist — (5 hrs / wk)

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

  • Manages social media presence

  • Generates posts and interactions

  • Responsible for maintaining engagement across platforms

  • Write and create ideas for social media engagement

  • Creating simple Canva graphics

Operations Team

Competition Coordinator — (5 hrs / wk)

Reports to: Chief Operations Officer

  • Responsible for organizing the logistics pertaining to all competition activities

  • Help ensure competition deliverables are drafted and submitted on time

  • Arrange travel, lodging, and food logistics for annual competition events

  • Help organize competition event schedules and personnel placement for smooth operations during the competition events

Physical and Digital Spaces Coordinator — (5 hrs / wk)

Reports to: Chief Operations Officer

  • Responsible for coordinating organization of all shop spaces: Richards & Gainsborough

  • Organizes club’s Google Drive and assists with the organization and upkeep of Confluence

  • Manages BioRAFT trainings and delinquencies

  • Documents the club’s subscriptions and notifies subscribers of issues

  • Manage short-term and long-term organization systems for tools, equipment, hardware, and stock materials across all storage spaces
