  • time expectation 15 hours a week

  • head must be trained in all manufacturing processes for their system prior to becoming head

  • needs to regularly check system master assembly and finishline for corrections that leads need to make

  • should be knowledgeable and involved in system projects enough to be able to help out with them as needed, but should not be taking on a major role in a project

  • hold leads accountable for cleaning up after themselves in the bay

    • chief mech e holds the right to call for system to host a 2 hour bay cleaning time if things are left uncleaned for too long

  • provide biweekly system updates for chief mech e to send in leads channel

  • assist leads with training new members in software, manufacturing, and assembly skills

  • communicate with chief mech e when project(s) are behind and need additional help

  • attend all system design reviews

  • review all system drawings

  • in charge of high level decision making for system

    • high level meaning decisions that impact multiple projects/systems

  • head may also be lead of one of the following projects out of their own system
