Time Commitment

  • Leads are expected to contribute

Responsibilities

From a high level, Leads own the success of their project

  • Leads are responsible for:

    • Ensuring the timely completion of their project

    • Training and onboarding new members

    • Distributing and assigning work to members

    • Maintaining an up to date confluence page documenting all relevant project details and design decisions

    • Scheduling design reviews for completed work packages

Meetings

  • Leads will attend two weekly meetings at set times.

  • Leads will set design reviews for completed work packages.

System Meetings

  • Who should be there

    • Head, leads, and relevant chief(s) should be present

  • What should happen

    • Check in with leads on project progress

    • Time for head and leads to work with members on projects

Bay Times

  • Who should be there

    • Head, leads should be present

  • What should happen

    • Time for head and leads to work with members on projects

Design Reviews (as needed)

  • Who should be there

    • Head, relevant leads and stakeholders

  • What should happen

    • Review the design

Finishline

Heads should ensure "Finishline-driven” development

  • The Lead is resposible for:

    • Maintaining up to date timelines for all work packages

    • Setting descrete tasks using the finishline task tool, and keeping these up to date when completed.

    • Maintaining an up to date project BOM

    • Requesting changes and scheduling design reviews at the end of work packages
