Confluence Standards
To keep things somewhat organized/consistent we are adopting some requirements for our pages.
Using Pages as Folders
Some people like to create pages as folders and then put primary content within multiple sub-pages. We think this is fine to do, however it leaves us with a lot of blank pages that can be confusing when using the search tool or viewing on mobile.
Never leave a blank page!
Any time you want to just use a page as a folder for other pages, please insert a “Children Display” element. This will automatically create a table of contents of all subpages, which fixes all concerns!
It is also nice to add just a brief text about what this folder/set of subpages is for.
