Show on Placement Parameters

This should be merged into a larger guide at some point, not sure which one though yet.

When dragging components into schematics, we sometimes want specific parameters to appear by default. This is easily configurable on a folder-by-folder basis in the vault.

  1. Open folder properties

     

  2. Enable “Configure Parameter Visibility on Add

     

  3. Select your parameters!

There are a lot of junk parameters due to our Vault constantly needing to be cleaned up. Ensure you only turn on parameters that are “standard” per the Vault Guidelines.
