NERventory

Add/get from nerventory.

1. get username or password from Jack

2. go to hermes or vpn

3. open http://192.168.100.57:8081 and login

There are some things of importance:

Part= a distinct thing, one part can have multiple “stocks”

stock= a bag or something containing 1+ of the part

category= a grouping of parts.

storage locations = a labeled area where the stock is present

Adding items

1. go to left bar and open “tools → create parts from info provider”

2. select “digikey” as info provider

3. type in part number of the item and click search until it shows up

   1. IF the item is yellow (already exists) hit the blue arrow to the right and hit “edit existing part” (or something like that) NOT the circular arrows to update existing part

   2. IF the item isnt yellow highlighted (its new) hit plus (the blue button on the right)

4. IF its a new item: Under “common” enter the category of the item. It is the EXACT same category in grey below the item, you can either copy and paste or search it up.

5. Under “Stocks” enter a new stock with both the amount and the storage location specified

6. Save changes

   1. IF its a new item: click save changes and make sure it says success.

   2. IF its an existing item (yellow highlighting before): You need to hit save TWICE until the green success message pops up

7. Close that tab and feel free to search up a new part

Search items

Just use the searchbar in the top right. Note the bin label: 1A, 1B, etc. and go and find it. Please either put it back or mark it in a bew bin when you are done:)
