Use v6.10.X

Linux and Mac normal.

 

Windows:

Download zip, move to ubuntu, then, with WSL:

unzip ./STM*zip ./Setup*10*

Then follow instructions, leave defaults. Then;

sudo apt install libnss3 libasound2

Then to run the program in the future, do not use Windows start menu, instead run:

~/STM32CubeMX/STM32CubeMX
