Reserving Spaces for Testing

Gainsborough Strip

• The strip is the entire road from Gainsborough Garage to Ruggles, but we try to just use the area behind Robinson

• Get in contact with NUPD around 24 hours beforehand and let them know that we’re gonna be using the Strip.

Columbus Garage

• Talk to MassParc about this (Columbus is not a Northeastern property)

• Email them about getting the space as soon as possible. Also try getting blocks of time a month before the car is ready to roll.

• We also need to email NU Risk and NUPD just for the heads up that we’ll be testing.

Northeastern Burlington Campus

• Figure out how to transport the car and equipment to Burlington

  • U-Haul: ~$100-150 for the day

  • 10' Moving Van, 8am to 8pm, Basic Insurance

  • NUPD Bike Trailer: Email Officer Deric McGill (d.mcgill@northeastern.edu) for Trailer Availability

• Email Northeastern to get permission at least 2-3 weeks in advance.
